Being quite thoroughly addicted to tattoo's I thought I'd start a thread here (in imitation of OCAU) about people and their tattoo's.

So I'll go first with my first tattoo:



I got a dragon because I've always loved dragons and see it as a part of me, where I get fierce if you get on my bad side. My second dragon tattoo is in the making, will be getting inked on the 16th May. This next one will be more of a dragon than the first as it will have wings and limbs, claws, etc.

now i don't hav a tatt, but wanna get one!

....but just too scared! anywho, what i want is what my avatar is! for those not in the know of "star wars", its a bantha skull (elephant-ish animal) that one of the characters - boba fett, bounty hunter - has on his left shoulder plate of his amour (god i sound like such a nerd atm!  :P ) so naturally, i wanna get it done on me left shoulder!

oh yeah, was also thinkin about gettin me name in chinese tattooed on the back of me right shoulder blade! as i spend a bit o' time in the sun and am relatively quite tanned - esp during summer! - was thinkin of gettin it done in white ink.

....i just gotta get the balls to go down to the tatt shop  :-[

i got mine about 4 yrs ago, its not a perfect tattoo, the guy kept screwing up, so i got it cheap!. i want to get another small basic one like this one, just not sure what of though.

If you're still passionate about that tattoo and the design, you can get it fixed up. A good artist (obviously someone different to whom did that one) will be able to make that look as good as it did when it was down on paper (or in your mind's eye, wherever the design came from).

Go ahead champ, that's an awesome design and I reckon it'll look great!! Don't be scared about it because, well to be totally honest, I had mine done when I was 18 and doing the HSC. At that time I had about as much balls as an impotent squirrel. Once your in the shop in the chair and the artist is doing their work, you just sorta dig in and stick it out. That tattoo shouldn't take to long.

i got mine done for my 18th. i designed it myself. i'm a bit of a pyro so i used flames, my favourite colours are black n purple. and in the middle is an acient egyptian symbol 'the eye of horus' which stands for protection....i wanna get another one done but i don't know what or where :-[


and for those of you who don't know me i am the lil person that can be seen around noss. i have appeared in such cruises as 'byron bay' and 'end of summer cruise'

My cousin's wife has a tat on her back and shoulder done in white ink, it's one of those random tribal swirly flamey designs and it looks tops. The beauty of it is it's so subtle.

i think some of you have seen mine before. but i do have another 4 lined up that im thinking about. 3 of which im getting for sure. im craving the ink needle again! :P
and aznpmp, its not really that bad. just go for it! i gotta admit for mine the outline stung like a bitch but once i got to the fill it was fine. just a bit weird that i could feel it vibrating down my back :P

i think i will wait till october to get my next one. to save for the fundage and cos thats when the next firday the 13th is. i got mine on a black friday. kinda cool methinks :P

my next one will hopefully be that eagle i yap on about. if not that than a blue frangipani. and then a panther. thinking about getting a cross done but i feel that would be somewhat hypocritical so maybe i shouldnt get it.

me gettin a tattoo has been on the table for AGES now, and me mind about what i want hasn't changed at all since i contemplated doin it when me mate got his 1st one done like 4-5 yrs ago!

yeah i think maybe vb would be slightly offended by that... :P but it would still be funny.

i think though, just in my personal opinion that the worst place for a girl to get a tattoo is on the belly. i think thats just a waste of money and time really. anyone else remember that bird that got nissan tattooed on her gut? imagine how thats gonna look 5 kids later... :P
