Heres a website on running in new 4 stroke motors it is very good and this method is used by lots of perfrmnce shops it is a good read also i know its on motor bikes but it applys to all 4 stroke motors as you will read.

there's a ton of other interesting info on his site, like the reduction of intake port height for faster intake velocities.

yeh i read about that intake porting thing, its hard to believe that all those people could be wrong, and surely people have dyno'd b4 and after enlarging their intake ports but his logic sorta makes sense to me  :-\
