RB20det and RB25det t28 whats the difference in the turbos

RB20det and RB25det t28 whats the difference in the turbos as im looking for prices and can get the t28 off the rb20  for half the price of the of the t28 off the rb25 also which one is better to run on the ka24e

One has a ceramic exhaust wheel (rb20) i think and isn't good for much over 15psi as the wheel can shatter. If you want to keep lowish boost than it'll be fine.
Not sure about the 25 turbo though.

im pretty sure the rb20 and rb25 have the same turbos. they are more often referred to as T3 turbos as they have the T3 exhaust flange. they both are ball bearing turbos. the rb26 have 2 T28 turbos with the smaller flange size. again they are ceramic. the rb30 motors have a T3 with steel wheels in it. you cant push a ceramic turbo much over 14psi as they will spit the exhaust wheel off the shaft and you will be picking it out of the cat.

The GTiR T28 has a larger exhaust housing which will let it flow more gas compared to an RB20 T28.
I was going to buy one, but i'm 90% sure on getting a TO4E.
