PCV VALVE SET-UP w/ITB's
« on: Oct 18, 2008, 01:53AM »
Not sure of the best way to connect this still with the individual throttle bodies. Should I get a catch can, remove the pcv valve altogether and redirect the line to one of the connections on the catch can and then the other connection on the can to the rocker cover? Sound right?

Just leave the hose hanging facing the ground :P.

LOL, Usually don't listen to him, hahahaha! Actually set up a bit different, rocker cover and pcv valve line tee into each other then to the can and the other outlet on the can has a filter on it which vents to atmosphere. From what I read in other forums was the best option, not exactly emission friendly though! :-X

whatever  :P to both of you  :)

since you're going baller spec build, look into running the hose from the rocker cover to the collector on your exhaust manifold with a check valve. however, if it's alot of oil getting in there i'd be fucking skeptical of fires! I know race cars use this system, but that's race cars.

The way its set now seems the best for n/a builds. Vents to the atmosphere so no chance of blow back and with steel wool inside the catch can the oil is seperated before it vents.
