I've got most of the things together for a turbo kranzy, just lack the money for the rebuild needed lol
You will be fine with a 2.5", especially if you are running a cam, chip and CAI you'd still be comfotable with 3". Don't take my word for it, listen to what SSS, chris and Kranzy say, they know what they're talking about.

It's a balancing act; i've come to the conclusion that an active muffler on a large diameter exhaust (2.5-3" NA) is the best option in terms of balance between noise reduction and torque/power output. (by active muffler have a look at the Xforce Varex)
So in your personal opinion get the 3" system with the ECV ...Where would you guys put the ECV?? i was thinking between the headers and the cat so the cat doesn't back up
