Rotor thickness
« on: Feb 2, 2010, 11:32PM »
Just wondering about the brake rotors and when they should get replaced.
I measured them and the overall thickness from outside to inside is ; 20.x mm FL and 22mm on FR. the FL is slightly thicker then 20mm
THis is for AU U13 bluebird.
Thanks

Thankyou They are. Had the FSM stored on another USB drive
the repair limit is 20.0mm, so seems like one is gonna need replacing soon.

Minimum thickness is also written on the rotor somewhere, usually on the 'hat' that the wheel bolts to on U12/13s.

No, they're different thickness rotors front and rear.

The minimum thickness is marked clearly on them.
