your opinion on the next cult car....
« on: Dec 19, 2002, 01:26AM »
so what does everyone think the next cult car will be? any engine/driveline layout, locally made, jap or european, whats it gonna be?

my money is on the BA xr6 turbo. with only a few minor mods it could beat almost anything on the road. and its not too bad in stock trim either.

for people replying, please dont have a go at others for their opinions, these are exactly that, opinions. so dont get bitchy. and no one is to reply with a "the xxxxxx is a shit car"

Yeah, you're probably right about the BA noss, but maybe a little on the heavy side to be a real sports car? Maybe I'm just into cars under say 1600kg but I'd say something a little less weight. I was talking to my Holden-buff mate the other day and he reckons that GMH have made designs for a possible Torana prototype. It would be considerably smaller and lighter than a Commodore but with the same engines. Anyone heard of this?
