yeah i'm not too sure what the problem would be sammy.. i'm sure we'll figure it out. although, i am still sticking with that my cai is the result of my higher power figure.

Now you know how i felt when i did 90.2 at the headwork  :'(
That's still good sammy, i think the problem to making power lies in the intake manifold; it seems too restrictive.

oh i dont. i did at the time, but now i use my own chips all the way. i just havent changed what i have listed as my mods because i dont want people to think i only made 89kw with all the mods i have now.

after i installed my cam, my car ran shit on the teamnse chip, and i swapped in the stock chip and broke some of the legs off the teamnse chip by accident when i removed it, so i cant use it at all.

Like you'd want to anyway  ;D

I'm still puzzled as to why my car made so little power on the mods i have, when i dyno'd my car at 90.2 at the wheels i had completely std engine management with 7 degrees of advance via the distributor.
I think my rings are starting to wear out...

i should just clarify in my previous post that i didnt used to use the teamnse chip over the antrx chip, antrx chips didnt exist back then, and the teamnse chip is what i had in my car.

nissman, i thought a stock T does the Quarter mile in about 16.6 (on paper) and you have so many mods, whats the go?

I'm not sure if nissman is factoring in the response times or not in his times. Regardless, that figure of 16.6 probably would have been taken when the cars were first made....

moral of the story?
leave your opinions about anyone elses times to yourself until you take your car down the strip yourself and post a time   ;)

i watched 2 of nissmans runs. the first one i saw was too much wheelspin and it was a 16.8, the second i saw he got a good launch and that was his 16.52 time. Pintaras are getting pretty old now so i think he is doing a good job  8)
2.0L 4 -------> 3.0L 6. Does this mean a 4.0L 8 next?? or back to a 2.0L......turbo!

And being a fellow T driver, there is no way in hell a T could do a 16.6 stock. Try 17-17.2.
if it did 16.6 stock i'd be doing somewhere in the vicinity of 15.5's now...but i'm not. Only going to the strip after turbo is on and the car is capable of low 14's/high 13's.

sorry to say too but there is no way a stock pinnyT would do a 16.6 1/4 mile time. i'd say those times were all calculated when the cars came out. 16.8 would be a 'quick' time for a stocko pinnyT.
remember, no lsd which would help greatly, with the chip in i now start spinning just taking off from the traffic lights slightly aggressively.
