need some info to help me make a few decisions.
hypothetically, buying an engine from importers such as alljap etc
.can u ask to see the engine running
. how can u tell how many k's its done
.do they offer warrentys?
.faults of ca18det's to look out for (other than leaking rocker covers)
.an other shit i shoudl know
m@
And there's not much I can say
But we miss you every day
And I'm bitter 'cause it's unfair
We'll be drinkin' in the sun
Playing music having fun
Cause one day I'll see you there

most if nto all engine will be out of the car so u cant see them running. any good importer will offer a warrenty of some sort and should have the amount of Kms travelled there if u ask for it.

They usually can do a compression test for you with the engine out of the car which provides a good indication of it's health. However, you generally need to buy from a trusted dealer or one that can provide proof that the engine is fine.
