16 X as-wide-as-you-can-fit. Most track cars use 16" as the the largest type of rim. Just get as light as possible, realistically. Lower that momentum! Make sure it doesnt scrub though.

More important than the rim, is the rubber. Given that that's the part that's in contact with the road... Wide tyres are great. I think one of the guys (lgee?) managed to squeeze 235's under there... that's a friggen wide tyre! Even 225 will be plenty of meat to plant your power. Stock engine, correct?

My pleasure man. Read through some of the project threads for some ideas, honestly if it's a stock engine the stock rims will be fine, just get some good rubber. If you *really* wanna get after market rims, light as possible is ideal. Ventilation (i.e spokes) helps too - plus giant chrome dinner plates are just gay.

If they are too heavy just cut a few spokes out, And drill holes in any remaining ones, derrrr, and get a parachute so you can slow down

You only need 1 spoke anyhow, to keep the center hub connected to the rim.. The rest are just decoration. Few drill holes in that one and it'll be light as!
