New member with a Boosted TRX
« on: Feb 21, 2010, 09:32AM »
Gday all
Was part of this board some time ago.
My TRX had undergone some drastic changes and now im back here to see how things are going.

Um, abit about the me and my car

Im a mechanic, passion for doing things different. Thats why i built this car instead of JUST ANOTHER WRX or SKYLINE
Built the car in my garage, had its first tune the other day. 170.9 kw and  345nm at 10psi Peak power at 5500 peak torque at 3550
Having a wastgate issue at the moment and its bleeding off so untill thats resolved, wont have a full power figure.

So there ya have it.
Cheers

Fiddled with nistune....
Selling my ECU atm with the nistune board in it too... The changes we made we to radical for nistune,
Not happy with results. Tuner described it like trying to drive a car, with someone else doing the pedals
Full after market . its a Morris tech ecu.

As for the SR route. Mate has a super quick SSS, 230kw. I plan to match him , if possible.
My car gets the power down so much better than his... Im quicker of the line, he reels me in.. equal power id have him!

Sounds the goods dude, not in victoria by any chance?

I've got a GT3040R & a 44mm external gate to go into my black U12, finally cleared some shit up so I'll be starting work on getting all that in in the following months.
Plan is to run it on 7psi and see how long the still stock bottom end lasts with a proper tune and the 1000cc injectors (still to go in, 14mm double oringed), got a set of eagle rods and ross forgies to throw in it when it goes.

I'll be wrapped if i can do over 150kw at the wheels to start whilst I get everything sorted.

Got any pics of your setup?
