1895rwhp, new world record.
« on: Jul 11, 2006, 08:54AM »

Eddie Tassone's new toy, apparently it's the same motor from his old VH that was run at Summernats the last couple of years.
They only ran it out to 6500rpm as it was leaning out severely, they hadn't had a chance to tune it properly. it's still got quite a bit left in it, they only finished putting the motor together a the day before the dyno event.

So that's what a 383, 2 rather large turbos, 40 psi and C16 will get you.

i love the first pic. the ute looks teh hot. ;D

I though that engine also saw time in a LJ Torana at one stage too.  Small turbos

Homer!  What have you done to the car?  I don't think it had broken axles before.

Before!  Before!  You're living in the past, Marge.  Quit living in the past.

What, I never said I didn't like it asshat! :P

At least I don't think I did... but if I did, then I'm the asshat.

look at all the gauges up his pillar. i wonder if there are any digital read outs stuck to the back of the wipers.

edit: upon closer look they have been removed for weight reduction. I can't believe this is a road registered vehicle, looks like a WA sticker on the windscreen too.

it would probably lose due to excessive wheel spin. I wonder how they stopped it from flying off the dyno.

From the size of those turbo's, looks like the ute should be on duty on the haul roads. As for a drag someone talked about, I reckon this ute would be out of fuel by 50 metre's and would still be doing 180 km/h at the 400m mark.
Your car may be able to go faster.
But I can go any where. except into a garage, underground carpark, bridge...

2 sticks and manual locking hubs. have to get out to drive it around
Good old Nissan.

KA's are the shit. According to all the info on the site, they are better then sliced bread and thats saying something.
