Air Scoops

Im thinking of putting an airscoop near my pod filter, would the airscoop act like a cold air intake??

If you channelled it somehow, maybe.  Otherwise you might just be helping to push the hot air around in your engine bay.

yes. I have a vent type scoop above my pod. noticed a difference in the sound straight away with a slight improvement in accelleration.
only recently fitted a stainless steel duct to force the air onto the pod. (by the way, the bonnet's black now)

I have got a big scoop under my front bar connected to a 80mm pipe wich goes to my filter.  Unless i drown it the water doesnt get up into the pod.  It also makes noticable difference, and doesnt stand out like bonnet vents.
