Reverse light switch
« on: Apr 16, 2008, 02:52PM »
Think my reverse light switch is stuffed. Anybody got a part number for one (for a manual)?

My chassis number is an auto which is a pain dealing with the local Nissan dealership (they always go off the VIN), the part# they gave me doesn't match the number at all that I've seen for a GTiR which I would've expected to be the same.

Part numbers I've found on the net for a GTiR:
32005-17E11
32005-17E12

And the part number Nissan told me over the phone:
32005-72E2A

I don't think I've got a copy of FAST anymore to look it up myself either.

Asked the GTiR lads, seems it's the same as the GTiR one so will asking Nissan for that part number.

I'll check fast right now for you... check back in a few mins :)

...well that was an epic fail, there's not part number for the u13 attesa at all. When i do the part number search for part code 32005 I get "No applicable part number".

I rekon the rnn14 should be right.

Oh yeah sorry guys, should have mentioned, I have the switch. Haven't swapped it over yet, but it's the right part. The local Nissan dealer had it in stock, apparently the same as a U12 Pintara! Haha.

Anybody know where this switch is located?  My reverse lights have never worked on my U12 Attesa and would one day like to fix it.

Switch is on the bottom of the gearbox mate, easily seen if you stick your head under the car on the passenger side.
