Can't quote exact prices, but ...

This one's obvious, try replacing the globe.

*Replace split Rack boots and lube rack
*Replace split left hand CV Boot
There are two-piece steering rack and CV boots available.  Shitty job (have to crawl around under the car, make sure you use chassis stands or ramps) but not too expensive.

*Springs to be 'serviceable' and fitted correctly
Do you have lowered springs - if so are they cut or "proper" full height springs that lower the car, like King Springs?  Put your original springs back onto the car, then take it over the pits again.  If they are original, ask for a better explanation.

Hope this helps.

what are these two piece boots you speak of?  Ive done my car and a couple of other cars and its a fairly simple job with 'normal' boots.  Although it can be time consuming, and you should get a wheel alignment after doing them.

Exactly as they sound ... They are split along the centreline so you don't need to pull anything off the car to put them on.  They come as a kit with moly grease and glue.

i've tried replacing the globe and it just doesnt want to work. i know about if you touch the globe then the globe is f*ked but i didnt touch the globe. where would the problem most likely be. obviously in the wires but there was a shi%load of wires that the headlight wires join into, and i dont want to go pulling things apart.
