order in the ones that are purpose built for the u12 if you want to use them, otherwise there is a bit of grinding etc to make them fit. i fitted them to my first u12 because someone tried to break into it using a screwdriver on the lock.

my advice though, don't bother. if someone desperately wants to break in, they will just smash a window.

what i ended up doing on my first u12 was remove the locks all together and just use the keyless entry. i would recommend fitting some kind of safety/backup unlock mechanism though just in case you get a flat battery.

they have a new series called the 'twin cam series' that i am looking at. i have heard that if not fitted properly they are easily popped out.

the locks on your doors are held in by a little clip and that is all. you need to buy the solex lock for your make and model car so it slots in properly to the hole in the door (i.e. it slots in and turns) then there is a little clip like the one in the image below that holds the lock to the door.

if the solex lock can be popped out, chances are the original lock would have been popped out in the same manner. solex do make locks specific for the u12, which are a straight plug and play fit, so if you're looking at other forums for cars that are more frequently nicked, then chances are the standard locks would also pop out for that make and model of car.

but again. if someone wants to break into your car, 9 times out of 10 in a u12 they will break the rear quarter window in your back door.

i found the old one for the u12, but not the twin cam  ones. just round/flat key, 2 locks or 4. seem to be universal Nissan. which isn't good if your lock is in handle. maybe the haven't released them car specific yet.

don't bother. if someone desperately wants to break in, they will just smash a window.

If someone wants to get in without breaking a window they will just slim jim any door that isn't deadlocked.

And if you have the Solex locks deadlocked (with the key) your central locking won't work on those doors either.
