Is there a reason y u would run the RCA cables on the otherside of a car to your amp power cable?

Yes, to prevent the power cable from interfering with the signal to your amps.

Most of the time it doesn't cause a problem, but sometimes you get alternator or ignition noise coming from your speakers.

Its generally worse if you leave the RCAs in a coil or loop, but yes, always run them along with any speaker wire on the opposite side to power

I did that once with the RCAs and power cable 10cm apart and it causes noise interference. So, don't do it. :)

ohk wasnt aware of that ive always been running my sub rca next to my power ever since i installed the kit.....when i get a chance ill change that and see if i notice anythin

with amps that are running subs, its not a huge concern, as they are less likely to reproduce the high end whine that speakers will produce
