people still use winmx and kazaa? geez. get with the times people
Theres 3 choices when it comes to sharing files. ( i'm not necessarily talking about illegal files either)
1. Bittorrent - With bittorrent you go to a site that hosts links that show you what's available. You need to get a bittorrent client (i uses Shad0ws), then you just click on whatever file you want and it'll start downloading. One of many sites with bittorrent links is
www.suprnova.org2. DC++ - this is a way of connecting directly to a user and browsing their directories and shares. I usually use dutch.kicks-ass.org as my hub. It has a 60gig minimum share, and usually has alot of users, generally sharing between 100 to 900 GB of data. You can grab DC++ at
http://dcplusplus.sourceforge.net/3. Emule - works on the same basis as kazaa and winmx, but i haven't come across one fake file yet. Has lots of apps, and lots of, erm, linux isos. ( which are perfectly legal).
Browny: i'll see what i can do about drift bible for you. I'm pretty sure i have my original dvd somewhere here
disclaimer: Of course all 3 alternative's mentioned above are different ways to get perfectly legal linux iso's.
