Hey guys,
Still fairly new to everything but i was looking to buy some after rims off a mate interstate
and was just wondering what the maximum width i would people able to fit (without modification) on a stock u12 pintara.
Cheers

i think the largest wheel i see most of the time is 17x7 with a decent offset and either 205/40 or 215/40 profile tyres. anything wider than that, or a different profile tyre to that, you will need to roll the guards.
pretty sure you can go 17x7.5 with the right offset and tyres that have a little stretch.

17x8 +32 is a good size on 215/45 or 225/40
I'm having slight issue on 17x8 +25 on 215/45

On a TRX, maximum width you can legally run is 1" wider than standard, so 7" is the maximum width you can legally run.
On any other U12, because they came with 5.5" width wheels from the factory, technically you can only run 6.5" as the maximum, but you can be sneaky and grab a tyre placard sticker from a TRX and stick it in the glove box, replacing the original one.

Cheers guys he had 17x10s so they were definitely not going to go in easy.

i have had 17x9.5 +30 all round on my car but it rubbed a touch, ok a bit. now i have settled for 18x8.5+30 racing harts on gold yes i know its a 13 but they just as hard to get wheels for, i have a set of 17x7.5 in +22 in black and 4 stud if anyones interested.

yea not bad, I've got a Set of 17x7's +40 with 215/45 tyres on hold just waiting for my cash to accumulate XD and they will be on their way and i think they should fit nicely.

I run 16x7 + 40 an they ribbed had to roll the lips up and bash the inside of the guard out on the rear
