94 infiniti g20t; 16.5 @ 85mph. 2.0dohc.

For a motor that is basically a USDM spec SR20DET, that is slow....

the time that surprises me is the VTEC integra, i had a friend who use to own one and he always said it was sooo slow.
they are spose to be a luxury sports car, so 15.1 is alright for a 4cyl N/A car.

also the old turbo mx6 is quicker than the newer V6 model. ur spose to expect a mid to hi 15 1/4 in the old 1990 2.2 turbo models.
milk and juice may come in 2 litres, but they dont have turbochargers bolted to the side of em

The Altima/Bluebird time isn't accurate. In tests, they have clocked 16.4 for the Bluebird over the 400m.
The 240sx uses the same engine and does 16.1 according to that data...

Keep in mind the 240sx is rwd (althought this would probably make it slower to 100 due to drivetrain loss ???) the 240 also puts out 116kw instead of 112kw.  I think the 240 is slightly lighter as well.

I think tiburons are pretty cool and 15.6 isnt too bad at all.

Yeah mate about 10% of power is lost in FWD and about 20% for RWD.

bur ur RWD gives better traction.

a RWD car vs FWD car with the same power, same tires and suspension etc, id be puttin my money on RWD.

hence all decent drag cars are RWD.

Yeah, 1989 240sx have a kerb weight of 1270kg, same as the U13 Bluebird LX but i'm not sure about the 94 240sx.
240sx may be geared a bit more aggressively but not 0.8sec difference over the 400m.
