Title: a power transistor?

i was told that the power transistor in my car went out. i have never heard of a power transistor. where is it located and how hard is it to change? would it be an expensive replacement?

its located on the bracket that your coil is attached to. its not hard to change. head out to wrecker (junk yard) and pocket one and swap it over. piece of cake.
