« on: Nov 26, 2004, 09:06AM »
went to get new steering boots today, he said my wheel bearing is shit, my tie rod on the right hand side is shot

is this gonna be costly?
And there's not much I can say
But we miss you every day
And I'm bitter 'cause it's unfair
We'll be drinkin' in the sun
Playing music having fun
Cause one day I'll see you there

tie rod for my r31 skyline was $35 with nolethane bushing. 2nd hand but nothing wrong with it. What do they mean by shot?? as in cracked. if its that bad u would notice a tie rod break when braking. The car will tend to brake to one side quite dramtically until u take off the brake then it will straighten. feels quite bad. u will also notice bad camber. ALOT of it.

New tie rod ends are quite cheap matt, and are easy to replace. That's something i personally wouldn't skimp on, i would buy new.
