Actually quite a good thread on theoretically whether it'd be possible to destroke a KA24E using an L20B crank for higher revs.

Can`t comment on destroking yet as i haven`t looked into it for these motors

But the closer you get to a square engine the better it will rev

If you do destroke and use standard rods and pistons then you`ll have lower compression - good for turbo`s

you'd be more keen on torque though wouldnt you sssgtr? more stoke generally gives you more torque..  ;D

HA! I wouldn't de-stroke the KA: I'd try and stroke it even more! meh...it'd rev out better if the bottom end was balanced better and was lighter.
