For Sale: 1990 U12 White Pintara TRX Manual

Hi guys,

Unfortunately after a great 10 years its time to part with my much loved TRX.

This has been an extremely reliable car and seriously in the time i have had it, it has only failed me once. Funny enough it was last week the day before I was picking up my new car. It's like the old girl knew. The water pump and belts have now been changed.

The car does need a bit of attention. It has an oil leak, the front right cv boot needs replacing and the roof lining is sagging. Apart from that it runs well. The odometer reads 228000 but over the past few years has been working on and off. Recently replaced the 2 front tyres.

The car has been regularly serviced and will be sold with no reg and no roadworthy. Lots of money spent but modified tastefully. Body and interior still in great condition.

Comes with:

-Car PC with an 8" touch screen moulded into dash (runs Centrafuse with Navigation)
-Smart phone alarm and tracking. Allowing you to lock, unlock or track the car from your smart phone. If the car is broken into it will immediately call your phone and let you know the location, then allowing you to shut down the engine  
-Cold air intake with K&N pod air filter
-2.25 cat back exhaust with cannon muffler
-ANTRX stage 2 performance chip
-Short shifter
-Low king springs
-17" wheels
-Tinted windows
-SSS grill

This is a sad day for me but unfortunately its sitting at my parents place and they want it gone. I hope it goes to a good home. That is why I've posted it up here before anywhere else.

Is the oil leakage hard to fix??
how much km has the engine done before odometer went highwire (aprox)
and what parts is it missing now??

It doesn't have a fuel leak. The water pump needs to be changed. From what I know I think it's pretty straight forward.
I would probably guess around 250 - 260 kms

I would be really keen but i  dont wanna buy a four cylinder over 250k km for my first car. i just wanna use it as a project car anyway. But  from what i've heard water pumps are hard to replace i dont want to throw my self into deep water right at the start.

That trx looks so neat, i'm keen but fixing water pump is way out of my league.
What parts are already gone??

It is a very clean car. I have not sold any parts. I would prefer to sell the car as is.
Like I mentioned in my original post, I can replace the water pump if you are keen

Ill  give it a bit of time till my pay check  comes in than ill get back to you, if the car is still here or on gum tree ill most likely buy it. But i doubt the car will last that long its a neat car.
