copying a copy controlled cd
« on: Dec 14, 2003, 01:53PM »
for those like me that have an mp3 player in their car & want to copy their cds to mp3 for obvious reasons, if you havent figured out how to copy the cds yet, try some software called mp3 producer, i have just copied 2 copy controlled cd's perfectly for use in my car.

for those that just wanna copy cd to cd for use in their car, use alchohol 120%

obiously there are a lot of people around that know this already, but this is for the others that dont. also i'm not posting this so you know how to pirate cds, but rather copy cds you have purchased for listening to in the car.

another good one is clone cd.
Lisa: Dad, we did something very bad! Homer: Did you wreck the car? Bart: No. Homer: Did you raise the dead? Lisa: Yes. Homer: But the car's okay? Bart & Lisa: Uh-huh. Homer: All right then.

Backup your cd's :)

I read in one the pc mags at work that on certain cd's, you can hold down shift whilst inserting the cd (stops the autoplay feature) and that enables you to get around the copyright protection ! :D

Alcohol 120% is quite good, but can take some time, depending on the cd.

I actually haven't used Clone CD, but use Clone DVD all the time to umm, backup my DVD's onto DVD-R ;)
