i dont know about that, but if you check the tyre placard, you will know its a TRX if it has 14"x6". All other models were 14"x5.5".

I had a quick look - couldn't find anything.

There's a code for the transmission that means it's a LSD box (only TRX came out with manual and LSD)

Ti had LSD and Auto (optional on TRX)

Don't think that there's anything on the build plate though.

I thought Ti's came out in manual too. Anyway, put two and two together... If your car has LSD and no electrics i.e. windows mirrors etc, then its probably a TRX, if it has LSD and electrics, then its a Ti, if it doesnt have LSD, its a T or other option etc.

Incorrect. The Ti that i was driving (that became the donor car for the TRX was manual and lsd.

There is a way you can tell from the complience/build plates that state its a trx. Car isnt at home so cant tell you exactly where. Can do tomorrow when i see the car next.

as far as build plates go, i'm pretty sure on the plate you'll see the letter/number combo FCU12 and TRX in the chassis/build/whatever code.

as an example, pintara t's have FCU12 and GXE in the code.

sorry i cant be more specific, i'm not close to a pintara right now :P

TRX = body kit lol

i think he might be asking because he wants a genuine trx, or is wondering if his is genuine, rather than just a pintara with a trx kit.

there are other ways to tell visually as well.. like the interior trim, its specific to the trx.

Also to check if the car was originally fitted with a LSD box, check the gearbox code on the build plate. LSD boxes have 'V' at the end of the model number.
