AFM with pod?
« on: Sep 20, 2004, 05:48PM »
ive got a pod sitting in my engine bay behind a heatshield that i made, now im wondering where i should stick the AFM? i just left it floating outside the pod and the cars running fine, but i cant help but think that it should be after the filter somewhere.
where should i stick it? im not really a fan of drilling holes in the rubber flexipipe stuff

The system should be Pod filter -> adapter -> MAF (airflow meter) -> rubber flex pipe -> intake plenum ... if your MAF is sitting in front of the pod filter (how you managed this is beyond me :) ) then you'll have problems as the hot wire sensor gets crap in it.
209rwkW stock ... yes, it's a U12!!

you're probably talking about the temp sensor.. most people just leave it sit next to their pod.

it can be as simple as tying it with a piece of sting (or elaborate as a piece of bling)
