Speedo stopped working.

Hello chaps.
My speedo stopped Working suddenly today.
Could this be a loose wire etc?  I know longer register speed or km reading.

Can anyone shed some light what the problem is and how to fix it?

Sounds like a loose wire.Had the same problem in the TI.Maybe Get Ur mechanic to take the Instrament cluster out and test the wires to see if it is actully the Wiring or If it's the Gear's inside the Trip meter.

Sorry boys but you's are idiots :P haha

I was driving and mine suddenly stopped working one day.
There's a speedo sender unit that screws into the top of the gearbox, mine unscrewed itself. Check that.

.........How are We Idiot's for trying to fiqure out the problem.It could be that or it could just be a loose wire.

If its not registering speed or KM, then its the sensor.

Lol I was kidding, but yes as budgie said, no speedo or km reading it's the sensor. It's a cylinder screwy thing ontop of the gearbox :)

mine likes to go fast its stuck at over 180 klm, thats where it stopped working after a track day, probably thought if im gonna spend all this time off the clock i may as well stay here, lol

Mine stopped working and it was a little plastic cog in the dash

That would be for the odometer / trip meter Kaylie. The speedo is driven by a sensor in the gearbox.
