KA24DE Turbo Kit
« on: May 3, 2006, 12:36PM »
For all you KA24DE owners.  If you have $5000 spare, check this bolt on turbo upgrade to give some of us Attesa's owners a run for our money.

thats an excellant price for a full kit. only things i can u might need is a fuel pump and maybe afm. plus of course installation and dyno tuning. but still for custom everything... pretty good buy.

but for all that, id just sell the bluebird and get the attesa... which the US ppl dont have the option hehe

is this US kit still a 'bolt on' for aus u13? i would have thought that being right hand drive there would be some bits in the way.

sounds like a good proposition... still cant beat awd tho... bloddy attesas... :P

cant beat all wheel drive? that is so possible!  an SR20 AWD against an SR20 2WD exact same motor and engine power output.  Provided the 2WD can keep traction it should be quicker than the AWD.  Less power drain through the driveline, hence more power for each powered wheel.

As for the kit being bolt on, i would imagine there would be minimal dramas with the whole left/right hand drive. the engine is still in the same orientation.

Off the line... would be so far ahead the FWD of equal power would pass for maybe a milli second then you'd run out of road.  Almost every time...

If its raining? :P :D

I know that this kit is for a 240sx (still a ka24de), but i saw a similar kit the other night on E-Bay for the U13 at the same price....
The turbo would be a cheap ripoff (not a decent brand name) and probably wouldn't last 10 minutes but god these kits are cheap!
