I think it looks pretty good!

Grab some better pics if you can :)

I wouldn't mind getting an SSS grille.

You should, seeing as you actually have a motor from a SSS in your car :P :D

Kegs, I like the silver mate.  Looks good.

What paint did you use? just an off the shelf can of silver or did you get it made to match?

IF it was off the shelf stuff, what brand is it?

I got the paint of the shelf the brand is MOTOSPRAY (Acrylic).

The grill was originally all black I decided to paint the outer rim but leave the grill meshing part black thought it would look good' something different.

If I get one I'll paint it the same way. Coloured perimiter, black grille. Might do some detailed paintwork on the badge itself to match it with the car though :)

But yeah it's quite justifyable :)

When I asked for better pics btw, I just meant better quality ones, not phone type/night time shots :P

where do u live? ring up any wrecker dealing with jap cars and ask if they have U12 SSS Bluebird grill. Most jap wreckers/importers should be able to giv u an answer straight away. Price varies from about $50-$80. I got mine for $80 (i think). But its chromy looking and daresay that they're rarer that the black ones

There are two types of SSS grille... Kegs has a HNU12 grille.  The grille on noss's car is from an RNU12.

They duct air up into the bonnet, then it travels through channels in the bonnet and onto the TMIC.

Its a pretty crappy system, only really works when air outside is really cold, early morning or night.
