Ok im getting sick of my front drivers side driveshaft/cv making noises.

long story short,  a while back my cv boot had gone and took it to a place to get fixed. i get my car back and they 'replaced' my driveshaft without telling me. started driving, and it started making noises AFTER i got it back. like wtf. didnt follow it up then which is my stupid part

anyways, will be taking it to a cv specialist to c if its the CV or the actual drive shaft making the noises, cause im thinking if they replaced it, they wouldnt have known that the car was an import, so I have nfi what they changed it with (if they changed it at all)

so, if worse comes to worse and I have to get another driveshaft, what r my options? are GTiR shafts the same or am I limited to only u13?

edit: on a little more searching could it be my wheel bearings making the noises? are there any ways i can test what parts stuffed?

cheers guys

Standard test for wheel bearings: jack the wheel up off the ground, grab opposite sides of the wheel (top and bottom, then front and back) and see if the wheel wiggles on the 'axle'. A dud wheel bearing usually makes an uneven grinding sound.

CVs usually make a 'train tracks' clicking sound when you're going around a corner. (Clickity clack, clickity clack)
