what engine would you put in her tho?

Well my choice, staying in nissan family, a SR20VET tuned heavily. Althou the QR series is newer but isnt that FWD ?
A 6 would be good so VQ series; VQ30DET or  A modified version of the VQ35DE, called the S1,  VQ35HR

 VQ30DETT - 2003–present Skyline GT-R JGTC race cars
 VQ35DE - 2002–present Nissan Skyline (V35) 272 PS (268 hp/200 kW) and above

not sure.. sr20, vq35, vq30det whatever will fit that has enough power.

anyway.. i'll revive this thread a little cause i'm sort of almost legitimately looking around again.. its a thought thats been in the back of my mind over the holidays.. give the new turbo manifold the ass and just buy a new car.

one of the cars i've been looking at is the audi A4.. 1.8 or 2.0 turbo would be nice (114kw and 147kw respectively) both are awd, both are full of leather, just overall nice cars.

if i was to buy one, i'd want the B7 model which was released 2nd half of 2005.. exactly like this one is what i want.. B7 model, black with a sunroof.. too easy.

of course, some people are trying to talk me out of it and keep the u12, some people are trying to talk me out of it and buy something cheaper and some people.. i dunno who cares.

knowing my luck, given the whole financial crisis crap, the bank wont be my friend and i wont get the cash.. but thats the whole point of this thread anyway i suppose.. cars i want that i'll most likely never end up buying ::)

but the rb engines sound so awesome
id prefer the sound of an rb26 over  wats in my step dad 350Z
but then again sound doesnt make you travel faster lol

Ive been wanting a new car 2.

My car is mechanicly nearly perfect (apart from alittle fan belt squeek every now and again) but im sick of fecking bumpers falling off and not lineing up and exhausts scrapping on driveways to the point of it accualy ripping my rear bar off if i go down on the wrong angle.

I have decided i am going thru a mid life crises at 21. Im either looking at a motorbike (prob my best option) or a bmw of some type altho after looking at prices i think that is a stupid idea, Or a lexus GS300:

Fast bulletproof engine with vip luxury. Im hoping to get my mum to get one so i dont have to.

I had a dream once where I bought a gold IS300. Then some goons took the Pintara before the Lexus was ready. I was not amused.

i would really love the cube, but i really want something that moves and has luxury.. i've been looking mostly at bmw's and audis.. for some reason of late, i have been just really wanting to buy something really nice, just because i can.. probably cause it would make my dad proud cause he knows i love cars and lets face it, for a car lover, a nice car is the ultimate.. i just like lots and lots of cars and i cant make up my mind, but at the end of the day, common sense and affordability will probably prevail.

one of the reasons i still drive a u12 even though i could afford something much nicer is because i dont see the point of buying a car that is heaps more expensive to service.. and just costs a fortune in general to pay off the loan i'd have to get. sure the u12 is old and has a few more niggling things than a new car (like busted hoses, clutches, brake master cylinders) but i can replace them myself or with help and they're relatively cheap.. i'd be spending just that much on maintenance of a new car plus sizeable repayments. overall i'd argue that its cheaper for me to own the u12 and do my own work on it rather than a newer car that breaks down less often but needs to have most work done at the shop for warranty reasons etc.

supercharged cube is the go though.. how awesome would that be!!

Old school Skyline would be awesome!

Like you I had been looking at Audi's as well for ages. A4 quattro is beautiful, if you want more power, just up the boost!
Or you could check out an Audi S3. Some of the early 2000's models are quite cheap now. Go for the model with the bumper and light change. I had some pics but can't find them now.

nothing.

The S3 would be nice... AWD with leather.
Mate at work has an A3 1.8t (2000ish)  Goes alright for FWD with turbo, plus its got leather and a sunroof.  Picked it up from a dealer for about 15k.

Optional to every model is an extensive accessories program that allows future owners to customize their Cubes with over 40 different parts, and there's no doubt Nissan's going after Scion with this move.  The accessories range from a unique 20-color interior illumination kit to bodykits and even "shag carpeting" instrument panel inserts, so personalization should not be a problem for Cube owners in the least.  A "Reserve Your Cube" program will allow consumers to mix and match the parts they like best to build their own signature Cube before sales begin in early May.
