what he said ^^^^^

maybe if the IC was top mount i'ld give it more credit, but bonnet scoops in general just don't do it for me

aww comeon ed, you should know that with a properly built airbox, a NACA style duct like that is right in a BIG positive pressure zone on the bonnet and will cram air into the box!

it should have been shaped a little more to suit the lines of the car, the angles just dont work. if the effort was put in to work with the lines of the car it would look shitloads better. good effort none the less.

I think noss worded it a tad better than me :P

It just seems a tad out of place. Im not saying its not functional, just not asthetic enough for me to give the thumbs up.

I dont mind the bonnet vent tho, its actually done well, and matches the car very well. Subtle, but it stands out... if you know what i mean.

im no fan of it either, with the flatness of the bluebird bonnet it would have been alot better to not have been so protruding from the bonnet itself

I think I like it because of the FMIC rectangle in the front bumper.

U13's look 'sad' anyway out of the factory, lights droop the wrong way I reckon.

I think it would be okay as long as you kept it on the front left (speed camera side).

I've just cable tied mine to the side as in the above pic, And I'm thinking of cutting out that bit at the top

All I need is someone with Photoshop skills to remove the bit where the old plate used to be and replace with where the remaining IC would be, cheers. :)

Well all the chicks like it :) and im not trying to impress guys LOL.
Guys different areas=dif taste depends wat yr brought up in.
THe centre vent goes with the shape so dont no how u say it doesnt lol, and the side one id not for looks but for the air.
I have seen a few attesas with the scoops and vents that are a lil to square, while this one i found is more curved not straight.
I mean ok you dont have to like it, but it doesnt look ugly tho does it? But as long as it does it job and people over here like it(as you guys arnt lol) I guess thats all that matters ;D

again the cut out on the side is for air flow only not looks LOL
Centre rib?
We had a pic of a evo and just got the bonnet lip it had so we tried to make it similar thats why it is protruding as u say

THe centre vent goes with the shape so dont no how u say it doesnt lol,

what i mean is that the sides of the vent clearly arent parallel with the edges of the bonnet.. if it were me, and this is entirely my preference, i would have made the sides of the vent parallel with the sides of the bonnet. as i said though, good job regardless.

this is my super ultra half assed photoshop effort of explaining..

as you can see, the vent follows the lines of the car, not just a nice moulding in job, but the sides of the vent are closer to being parallel with the sides of the bonnet and make for a much cleaner and almost 'standard' appearance.. and in my opinion, looks far better (if you overlook the dodge photoshop @ work when i'm sposed to be working effort)

oh ok, well the vent was actually an evo one so wasnt much room to change that and the raise/lip thing sorta just went with it, tho i swear they are not the same angle LOL

Love the chop of the front bumper Jello, Only reason I wouldnt do it is that the off center number plate looks wered on the u13.

As for the bonnet, I dont realy like it myself. It looks decent just not my style, each to there own I guess. Also sometimes photos are hard to judge from often photos make things look alot worse than they look in real life.

When I bought my car I saw photos of it and thought the rims didnt suit it, but when I went for an inspection I realy liked the rims.

Apon saying that most who see pics dont like it, just like on here so guess pics do suck monkey balls LOL, tho if u find somethign good in a pic it must be good LOL. I had the same thign with my wheels everyone hated them, but as soon as they saw them they were like DAMN lol tho i keep curbing them LOL i gotta learn to drive better
