~~~ Removing Resonator From Exhaust ~~~
« on: Dec 27, 2009, 08:43PM »
Hi guys, i have a 94 bluebird SSS and just had a quick question about the resonator. I have a complete stock exhaust except for a magna flow muffler with 2x 3'' tips (OO) <<<< like that lol . . . just wanted to know if i remove my resonatpr and replace it with a straight pipe how will it sound?? Fuel economy go down or up?? What should i do ? ?
Thanks in advanced, im all ears guys and need help, catch!
My guess is that it will probably get a bit tinnier (hot dog resinators usually cut higher tones) but maybe generally a bit louder also.  Doubt it would do anything noticable for fuel economy or power.
My opinion, not really worth doing, but make it totally reversable and try it anyway if you want to find out.
