550cc injectors
« on: Jan 19, 2004, 10:14PM »
Hey blokes, thought some of the turbo guys here would be interested in this pic. It is a pic of my rx7 550cc (late model series 5 turbo '-2020') injectors on a u12 ka24e manifold.

Plugs are Mazda.

The fuel rail is factory U12.

I haven't run the engine yet. Just proof they fit :)

i remember you telling me they were a tad shorter than the original injectors, that's great to see that they are a perfect fit!
I know of certain people that'll be quite happy about this....
What did they set you back?

I got a set of 6 for $300. Didn't need 6 but at least I have 2 spares!

sssgtr, the difference is minimal. Plenty use these injectors on other nissan fuel rails which have identical shape injectors to the KA24E units so I don't think it will be a problem.

I'm happy too, I have the same injectors. I got mine for $80 off of ebay. I'm gonna get them flow tested, but that don't cost too much.  You guys can find them cheap on ebay ;)

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=33554&item=2454787422

Says will only ship to US or Canada, but you could email him and ask nicely if he'd be willing to ship Aus.
If you check the regular ebay they are on there all the time.  I doubt it would be hard to find somebody willing to ship them to australia.

I thought the stock injectors were only 240cc/min or thereabouts? if they flow 30cc/min more....excellent.

stanza92indy: did you get an E-manage yet?

no, I think I'm going to wait to purchase fuel management last.  Unless I find an awesome deal on e-manage or something.  It will still be awhile before I'm boosting.
