my willowbank trip
« on: Sep 8, 2006, 04:17PM »
Ok i finally took my car to willowbank for test and tune and ran a [email protected] (2.4ltr trx no turbo)

My problem is the damn start i can never seem to get a good launch and my 1st to 2nd change could be a bit better too, any hints
on clutch technique and any other tips would be appricieated NO SMART ASS ANSWERS EITHER

Also you guys probably wont believe the ET so if anyone knows how to put a photo from your phone to this site would be sweet,
i did notice im the fastest non turbo u12pintara trx so if i get that photo of the slip up there it will be official no arguments

Cheers Dave

if you've got a laptop with an IR port, you can send it to the laptop that way.

its is a pretty good time but i it should be 15.3-15.5 @ 145kph would having 17inch rims make it slower cause i ran 15.79 with 14inch rims previously and no chip and afm (maxima afm) although i have added a large front scoop

heavier wheels will cause you to run a slower time, yes.
but in saying that, i don't think it would be worth 0.1 second slower ET, unless they were some big heavy chrome wheels.

Your car may be able to go faster.
But I can go any where. except into a garage, underground carpark, bridge...

2 sticks and manual locking hubs. have to get out to drive it around
