Couple of questions, whats the usual fuel usage for one these? and where is the ECU?

Hey mate,

Welcome to the site, that's a nice Pinny you've picked up! :)

The ECU is mounted on the floor behind the kick panels, ie: behind the radio.

I usually get 8-10L/100km with my pinny depending on where I'm driving and driving style.  ;)

Thanks for the comments, I found the ECU.
What would cause the car to use excess fuel? I have to test it a bit more but I got about 100km out of $20 of fuel @ 1.50p/l.

thats about 13L/100km.

its classed as high, but mine was higher. to mention the obvious, check for leaking injectors, or any leaks in the engine bay smelling of petrol. also could be the coolant temp sensor, sending false readings to ecu or whatever, therefore more fuel being pumped, less being used whatever....

could be many things.
