How wide are they?

My 15x8 +35's were close to my struts.

17"x8 +32 on my rear... very close but not a problem.
Not sure how they would go on the front though.

I know it might sound like smart ass answer but the best way to tell will be to test fit. When I had the 180sx everyone told me R32 GTR rims would fit, but I tested them and they fouled on something random. If you can test fit, give it a go. Otherwise try using a offset calculator, theres a few floating around the net.

i'd have to buy them to test fit them! lol

if all else fails i can just machine down the mounting face of the rim to take off a few mm's, i done that with a set on my lc torana back in the day & worked a treat

Where are you buying from? If its a shop I wouldn't be buying rims from them if they don't let you test fit.

which shop is it? If it's Tempe tyres they'll send you one rim to test fit. I was going to do that when looking for wheels to clear my brakes.

I'd be willing to bet they will fit fine.  My fronts are 17x7 +35 (maybe +38) and dont rub on anything.
Surely you can try them from somewhere more local?

Now thats just a rash generalisation.  ::)
The P1 buddyclubs nosso had were pimp, and Kranzy Gmax arent that different from the gold things you had, except a better colour.

Besides... that rivet look both equip and sportmax have is gay.

Youd be poking out the guards a touch fyi. Whats your sussy? Stock/low etc? Test fit is best, but if 17x8 +35 clears, why not 7.5?

Do you know how much? like, is it cover-able by puping gaurds ect? and do you know how 7" tyres are for general steering, does it change it too much with the extra grip?

Just stock atm.

Yeah, there gonna be imports tho.. Unless a local wheel joint wouldnt mind  :P
Didn't know someone was running 8 +35 on the fronts? Dont know why they shouldnt either then, thanks  :)

Use an offset calculator. It'll tell you how much further out and in the wheel will be. Use this + a tape measure + your current wheel to see how much it pokes out by.

Depending on how to you see this, I don't think it's a problem. They don't need to know you have an intention of buying online. Plus, if you go to a physical store to check fitment, you may find something you really like there as well, so if you want to justify it as "not dishonest" there's your ticket. I work in a physical (commision based) retailer and don't mind people coming to me to play with whatever they were going to buy online, or asking questions. It's all in the name of the game.

From an earlier post up above;
My 15x8 +35's were close to my struts.

Worst case scenario - roll the guards, then flare it a little more (you've got a fair bit of lip there if you're handy with a mallet.) Not sure about legality depending on how much you knock it out. Also, beware of the paint chippies :P

For use at the drag strip I am planning on using a C5 Z06 wheel. It is an 18 x 10.5 inch with a +55mm offset. The stock wheel , as you know, is a 19 inch wheel with a +65mm offset. The tire I am planning on using is a Nitto NT 05R P285/40R 18. The wheel diameter of the 18 inch Nitto is almost identical to the 19 inch stock PS2 tire.

What problems will I have with the offset difference? If any can it be fixed with a 10MM wheel spacer? How complex a job is it to use a wheel spacer/ Are new studs required? Is the spacer permanent? If so that would make my offset +75mm with the PS2’s.

What about any other issues you guys might know from experience.

I want to be able to take off the Stock PS2’s and put these tires on and run at the strip. Then take them off afterwards and back on the street with the PS2’s.

Uhm... what? Can't tell if troll.

I'm guessing you're not running a U12 at all..? The stockie is a 14" rim with a +38 (?) offset.

Offset difference just gives you a wider track, and increases stability at speed. If you space it, you're just increasing the track size. Spacers are just a metal disc that slide onto your wheel studs, so that the rim sits out a few mms. They're entirely reversable? New studs depends on how short or long your current studs are I guess.. for 10mm (tiny) you'd be fine.

The studs don't change your offset. The offset is based on the rim, not the distance from the car.
