KA24DE or KA24E with DE Converstion????

best option of the two? money is a big issue at this point, just wondering what would be best and the pros and cons of both? thanx?

if you can do the work yourself and fabricate the necessary covers, the DE head onto the E block will be cheapest.

I spent bout 600 bucks slappin the DE head on an E block... granted i had to do a little fabing as stated above but it was well worth it. You'll get more power from the head swap...i'll put it to you this way....when i did it. i had put a brand new stock clutch in also...the redline was at 6500 and the clutch started slippin at 4500 ;D
Just fall......AND DONT GET UP!!

id do the de with e pistons its gonna cost more than a head swap but you wont have to deal with a tc anymore
