Hey guys,  a mate  is selling an Alpine CDA-9827 hd and since i dont know much about this or what to look for i thought id ask you.

whats it like? i mean is it any good or just a cheapy?
how much would you pay for it 2nd hand? (2-3months old)

i think the link above is in USD right?

Brilliant deck, i've got one and love it to bits :). rrp is $499 i think here in Australia, Second hand i'd be looking at $380ish.

I don't consider it a cheapy, it has 3, 4 volt preouts which is very nice, and apart from that has all the usual features including sub volume control.

I have that deck as well.

I liked my older JVC better (control preferance)... but the Alpine looks better.  It has a the features (some of which bungs listed) and its a quality unit.

I would recommend it.

I've got one as well (for only $265 at cashies, go figure), and it's an awesome deck for the money :)

RRP, I think, is $569. They've got plenty of features, and look very classy, IMO.

i had to let this one go, going to leave the audio till later its not the most important thing to me at the moment. doing some performace things first
