Hey im looking at replacing my ca18det with a sr20det its a Awd u12
was wondering if these bolt straight in or is there much modification that needs to be done

I have done it, bolt straight in mate (with SR mounts), especially if its already manual as well :)

cool good to know it is manual since the u12 dont run the cross member do the original ones work allgood?
what mounts need to be SR mounts? one from the head to body? (i hope that makes sense)

Yep that makes sense, the only one on my car that is SR specific is the one from the head to the body, drivers side.

But I also think mine is from a GTiR (the mount).

How long have you had your U12 mate?

oh yea swt was looking at a gtir motor just gota make sure motor comes complete, how was the wiring to do?

only had it for a bit tried getting the ca18 running but to far gone and like the sr motors better good
excuse.

Mine came already pre-running an Autronic ECU (GTiR SR as well).

Wiring into power harness, ignitions, power... etc was easy as.
