did you know that... in 1979, the silvia, then known as the s10, was powered by a 1000cc twin rotor engine?

sorry if i sound silly and everyone else is going "pfft... where have you been the last 24 years eh?" but i only learnt this today..

I read somewhere it was powered by a twin rotor - didn't know it was only 1 litre tho. Apparently it wasn't very reliable so Nissan stopped experimenting with rotarys altogether.
