whats best used to clean the internals of you gearbox. is degreaser fine?

When you say internals are you talking about the gearing itself or just the inside of the bellhousing?

When I cleaned mine up I just used some old petrol. Drys quick with no residue.

bit of both, mainly the housing internal. the gearset is still in there.
