« on: Jul 29, 2009, 03:15PM »
Anyone know how to install a msd ignition into a ca20??? It has the twin coils (inlet/exhaust) and can't find any info regarding installation for it.

i found sumone said to connect both of your ignition coils together. The CA20E uses two ignition coils, one for intake and one for exhaust side spark plugs. The exhaust side shuts off at 4000rpm, and you may find it struggles to rev past this point in higher gears. By connecting a wire between the positive and negative of each coil, you make both coils fire at all times. So, coil on the passenger side strut tower connected to the coil under the factory airbox, positive to positive, negative to negative.

Hope that helps...
