Okay guys the more I read about Nistune, the more I move away from the Wolf ECU. So now I'm on the hunt for a good workshop to book the car in for August some time.
My question is for those in Melbourne who have a Nistune board fitted, can you please advise via post or pm which workshop you went to & how you rated it etc.
Obviously if it's negative then, maybe a pm is better.
My usual mechanic noted one of the business below as one to stay away from... So I'm now after a recommendation from you guys.
I'm over near Essendon, but happy to travel to make sure I get the most out of the tune.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

S13 guys seem to rant and rave about how much they like Dr Drift. I only imagine they will be busy and hence slow.
Let us know how much it costs to get it done wherever you go ;)

status tuning would be the bet from what i've heard

Status sounded good when you go through their website and I also read a few good writeups on ns.com or the skyline forum aswell. So they seem to be the front runner.

Does the Nistune control boost or do you need to get a separate boost controller?
-
you will need a separate boost controller, though i think they were trying to get some sort of boost control incorporated

got my skyline tuned at chequered tuning, trent and cat provide a great service, trent was very helpful in trying to solve a ignition miss and drivability issue , after 3 trips from the westside, I decided it was to far for me to travel so a friend recommend I try advanced jap auto imports in west sunshine, within 10 minutes the missing issue was fixed, they went on with a retune on the same boost , I was amazed with the outcome the final power figure was 330 kws compared to the previous 270 kws, initially I thought it might just be a difference in dyno's but I was shocked wth the diffrerence in perfromance on the road, not to mention the drivability is as good as factory.
