No sound mystery???

Well for an unknown reason to me my stereo is pumpin out ZERO sound. Its on and the track is tickin over but no sound. I turned the car on the radio kicked in then made a loud squeeling noise that scared the shit out of me then no sound for sum reason. never had an issue till just before....:S
any ideas?

Maybe something to do with the wiring? I know when my 6x9's didnt work it was something along the lines of wiring. Maybe check all of you wiring, make sure nothings come undone or snapped?

running of the head unit

i found out wat was wrong, see this happened after i went to the car wash, so somewhere along the lines water managed to get into the loom of the right hand speaker wiring and that was wat was cutting everything out.... blew out all the water so no issues now :)

so correct in saying wiring :D

Squealing can be a sign of shorted speaker wiring (either to ground or each other).
