new TRX owner
« on: May 4, 2006, 11:23PM »
howzit goin all
I just bought my TRX a month ago its white, manual, rebuilt stock engine.
Installed underbodys and in car neons, along with centrel locking
I'm Lukes (rathies) mate and we help each other with work on our cars, mods etc.
i used to own a heap of crap ford laser, it was a funny car coz we turned the wiper jets to shoot sideways from the car to squirt poeple walking along the road.
I took it to an undiclosed limestone carpark and did reverse doughies, AH THE STUPID IDIOTIC DAYS OF DRIVING, ofcourse i know now that it was really bad for the CV joints, what an idiot, ANYWAYS, moving on.
It was written off after a small dent in the rear left quater panell, insurance towed it away to be auctioned and thats when i got the TRX, A BILLION TIMES BETTER THAN THAT LASER.
I love my TRX and will definatly not abuse it like the laser.
Well thats all i have to say for now, im outys

Here is a pic of my car (Blue neons) and rathies car (Green neons)

my god that laser was a joke!! but a good first/destroying car that at. ahh the turned around window jets were funny. It also had a big 4" fart cannon on the back that you could hear from 3 blocks away, I reckon the car lost power after it was installed. every panel was dented!
The zorst used to eat alot of maccas cups and the like when parked in the school carpark. There was wiring everywhere on the floor in the car (worksafe would've shut it down), there was random blue painted parts of the interior and engine bay.  oh and the window winders used to hit the front speakers!!
Much to my suprise dean never burnt out he fuel light on the laser, it was always on though. only cost a few cents to run per 100km. Maybe because if he filled it up all the way the value of the car would double.

HAHA nice. I have had the pleasure of driving a 92 rolla over the last week and the feeling of getting back into the TRX is amazing. I didnt no that you could love driving a car so much. The difference in the 2 cars from the same era is nuts. Probably what you felt with ur laser. Anyway Congrats.

Good to see another set of twins. Me and my girlfriend used to own these 2 (Untill she sold hers :( )

glad you emphasised the 'like' factor.
I had some pics of the laser after a reverse donut limestone session. Cant find em noooo..
either way the side said '1600cc donut maker' after i wrote on it with my finger, it was funny at the time.

nah I just needed to set the camera res. higher, but its easier to keep them smaller for putting em on the net.
A new digital camera wouldn't hurt either. my pentax has served me well for nearly 3 years now.

In the the pics you can see blurred reflections on the car which means the camera was moved while the shutter was open. ;)

very true. not many people know how to use a digital camera properly. I get my own camera right more than anyone else though.
