removing corsair dash

ive recently being trying to upgrade the rear speakers in my corsair and when the headunit was changed by the previous owner the wiring was not correctly done, i tried just pulling the headunit out but its screwew in from both sides, and i cannot for the life of me figure out how to get the dash/centre console off to get the headunit out and wired properly
any help on this would be awesome

Pull ashtray out - 2 screws. 1 screw below the cigarette lighter, 2 above below the air-con controls, then there are a few below the switch panels either side of the steering column. Drop the steering column down on its adjustment and the big L-shaped panel will just fit out from behind it.

You should be able to work out the rest.
