U12 appropriate coilover spring rates.

In my quest for coilovers, I have almost finished my order or a front set of u13 coilovers, full height and damper adjustible all under $600.

They have options for rubber or pillow ball top mounts, well, that's easy, pillow ball mounts ftw.

As for spring rates, they come with 7kg fronts but can be a custom order, what spring rates would be appropriate for the front of a u12 ? Or for my set up.

Have front and rear strut braces, front and rear sways on order and a 270lbs coilover sleeve kit in the rear.

Should I ask for 8kg springs ?

7 kg/mm fronts are quite stiff.

cheers mate.

also, anyone else looing at front coilovers for the u12, (predro, kranzy) the u13s would be better than s13/14. the S series may have more of a variety, but the S series struts are longer causing your LCA's to "Sag" when going more than 1.5" lower than stock, where as the u13s significantly reduces this due to have much shoter struts, shoter than u12s, plus they bolt straight in with no mods.
