Brake shuddering?

Hey guys...recently my bluey has been shuddering under heavier breaking..not sure what is causing it or whatever..i hope u understand what i think is shuddering .. i apply the brakes and it kinda vibrates the car alot ...
it has new pads put in about 2 months ago on the front.


any ideas?

From what you said its more tyres then brakes.
GO get yourself a wheel alignment and balance first. shouldnt be that dear
and then if your getting shuddering then its warped rotors or some suspension problem.

My brakes were shuddering in the bluey when i had her. Had the discs machined and it was good as new.
Cost about $120 from memory...

Huh?

A shuddering under (hard) braking sounds 99% like warped rotors to me.  Tyres 'unbalanced' would vibrate at all speeds to some extent.

Get them machined, although your car has high km's doesn't it?  Which might mean the rotors are already at their wear limit.  The brake people will sort that out for you however, could mean new rotors.

tyres that have flatspots will shudder under heavy braking but be drivable with no noticeable vibrations, unless excessively speeding.
